Portofino's Grille

August 08, 2011 - Likes it We spent a wonderful Saturday evening at Portofino's with friends. The food is EXCELLENT and the helpings are huge! The entertainment that particular night was Cover to Cover. They played/sang music for all age groups. They had wonderful stage presence and NEVER took a break! In short, we had a fabulous time and will be returning very, very soon. This wasn't our first visit to Portofino's but I can assure you they just get better and better with each visit.

 

MR. PAUL MAGUIREby PAUL MAGUIRE (1 review)I had been taken there for MY birthday in October. While I thought (at that time) it was a bit pricey, THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. I also would not have thought (before I got there) that it would be as fun a place as it is on the weekend. Despite my original feeling on the prices, I would NOT HESITATE TO GO BACK (often). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BEING THERE. "NICK" (the owner?) specifically came by & asked me if everything was to my satisfaction (I said absolutely. In fact, his manner made me feel as if we were "old friends"). My first time waitress was very good. My waiter this time was "David G." and he was "par excellence". I made sure Nick knew that. David did an outstanding job for all of us (there were 8 of us at my table)., When Groupon posted its deal to go to Portofino, I jumped at the chance to take advantage of it. I LOVE PORTOFINO'S FOOD, WAIT STAFF AND ATMOSPHERE & CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. By the way, they had an outstanding music group there called "Cover to Cover" which itself is EXCELLENT and definitely adds to the overall impression of being a top quality (I'd say 5 star) restaurant! It has become my favorite restaurant in that category! HATS OFF TO NICK & PORTOFINO!
